Hello everyone, does anybody know why some boats and jetskis have different resistor caps such as 10K ohms and 5K ohms. I need to replace some on my 98 sportster 1800 but they're 19 bucks from the dealer and I can't seem to find them anywhere else not ebay or otherwise. There are plenty of 5K ohm caps and I would like to use those however, I'm not exactly sure if it will mess around with the ignition system. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
