Well had an emotional moment just now, sold my two XP's to the first person that showed. Gonna miss them, but I'll find some new toy, a little calmer one this time.

It's a sad day when our Seadoo's leave our house
:seeya:

May be Lou can make you a Mod to keep you busy..................

You should of thrown up a parting picture. My avatar are my two I sold recently.

Bummer Harry, I remember the feeling like it was yesterday, but it was March 12, 2000, not that I was keep track. When I saw the guy roll out of my parents driveway I was devastated! Then I looked over my shoulder and saw my couple month old Speedster and that eased the pain, a little. I know due to your back and stuff you can't ride, my pops went through that many years ago and was laid up for 2 weeks straight and couldn't move. Now, at 74 he's chomping at the bit to get on my XP on memorial day, oh I so can't wait.

Same here, my 1997 GTi is under agreement and I haven't slept well since. I will miss that one, first love.

I was a little shocked to say the least, young man got out of his truck and took the seats off, walked around them and basically said "Sold". I guess they must have looked pretty good, sounded even better. Thinking about another "rat rod" now.

That's sucks man, first it hurt the second I drove away and realized my doo was owned by someone else... Then it hurt the next day when it was 90 degrees out...

Maybe you should pick up another beat up one to fix and resell..

i've been a little sad since my xp sold... even as I was sitting in the truck with the guy signing papers, I really wanted to back out. good luck shopping for your next ski... that part is a little fun,,, i'm enjoying that part of it.

I remember when my family sold our 1986 bow rider a few years back. It was in my family since it was new, so we've had it since I was born. Lots of family memories were made on that boat...

I'm giving serious thought to selling my bow rider (2000 Rinker Captive 192) and buying a pontoon...

We sold our I/O and bought a 20ft pontoon with a 50hp engine a few years back, don't regret it for a minute. My son calls it the "old farts" boat.

I've been looking at something like that. Maybe getting a 2 stroke 110 hp 3 sweater doo for skiing and tubing and a pontoon for hanging out on the like with the family.
