I have a 2001 GTX DI, I know that this ski can have little gremlins due to lack of peak battery power. It sits on a lift at my cabin and sometimes may not get used for a few weeks. Then the battery isn't fully charged and I get a "low batt" message. I have tried to disconnect the battery and it doesn't always Help.
I was thinking that maybe I could use a solar panel with a controller to prevent overcharging.
My question is about the mpem. The manual says to disconnect the battery to change it. Is it necessary to do this to "maintain" the battery with this set up?
What do you guys think?
