I can't believe you gave up the extended ride plate for the fins. I had Aquaman put together a shorter ride plate to accommodate the fins.
On that topic, the Yamaha's had much poorer off power steering than the SeaDoo's. So the CobraJet steering and Thrust vector steering had a much more dramatic effect. Of course, the 24' 2015 models have a moving keel rudder. So they may not need them now either.
We actually noticed the different on our 20' boat and if anything, it was the placebo my wife needed to add confidence to her driving around the landing.
So, mission accomplished.
