Snapped Vts Module Linkage

I dropped my ski to the floor this weekend because I needed to weigh the trailer. When I dropped the ski backwards I guess it landed too hard on the nozzle so it snapped the black plastic piece that the rod from the nozzle is connected to. I did some research and I found an auction with the same piece off of a 96 XP 800CC. I have a 96 gsx 800CC and I wanted to see if that piece would be able to fit mine with no problem? or maybe does someone know where to get one of these on a website?

If I am looking at this correctly they are the same part number 278 000 883 block-slid assy. $25.00 new. http://www.rivamotorsports.com/ Part numbers will show when you pick 1 and add to cart after that it will show you the part number. hope this helps. Robin :hurray:

yes thats what it is, the sliding block with that long stick that sticks out so the rod from the nozzle connects to it with a screw. im going to purchase that piece tomorrow. how hard do you people think it is to take out the old broken one and install this new one?

Hello, Well i did a little research on the vts slider. It does seem pretty simple to replace. But you might wanna wait for a better response from someone who has chaned it. ;o)
