My gs seems to smoke alot in the water only during warm up. ride for a bit and go into no wake and it seems fine. is this something to wory about? oil is to exspensive to WASTE!

Not to worry yet!...

No, it's nothing to worry about yet. When it smokes and doesn't clear up, then you got a problem.

The rotary seals, which are holding back the oil in your rotary chamber, around the crankshaft, will seep a bit of oil into the combustion side of the crankshaft area. When you start your engine, your burning that oil off.

It is a sign that your engine is showing it's age and will only get worse as the seasons go by. For now, I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you running premix or using the injection system. Most will smoke a little after starting up. If running premix prob more smoke all the time. If you still using the oil injection, make sure pump is perfectly adjusted to the alignment marks.

i use xps mineral oil,

i use the seadoo oil not premix. the engine was just rebuilt last year. i think the seal should have been replaced. but thanks for the quick responses

hey..nj, just depends on the kind of rebuild you had, if topend, then seals cant get touched, need to split the casings to get'm...
