Smoking 07 GTX

My father owns an 07 GTX which is supercharged. He let it sit for 2 years and upon starting it up at the beginning of the year it had very little power at first, then within several minutes it began to smoke heavily with black smoke then stalled. It was taken to a local dealer who couldn’t identify the exact problem, however they seemed somewhat confused. The spark plugs were fouled and black. The spark plugs were then changed fuel drained and refilled and it proceeded to foul another set of plugs again smoking heavily black smoke with no throttle response. He asked me to investigate it, and I removed the fuel injectors and had them professionally cleaned. there was no significant issue found with the injectors, and when I put them back in and attempted to run it the same things happened. Any help would be significantly appreciated. It’s in excellent shape with very low hours and would rather not have to sell it as a non-running unit. Supercharger blown? Computer issues running fat? Compression issues?

You are running way too rich. It is either an issue with the fuel injectors, the ECU (more specifically the sensors that are connected to the ECU), or the air intake.

I'd guess that there's something up with the air intake. The shop manual goes over how to inspect and take apart the air intake, that's where I'd look first.

Barring that, there might be a faulty MAP sensor.

Mousy nest in the intake would be my guess. If your intake is clear a fuel pump pressure test would ensure your fuel pressure regulator is working. 55 - 60 psi is the spec.

Thanks to both of you. I’m in the process of getting the ski from him next week and will begin investigating it again. Any good specs for testing sensors? I’ve got a good working knowledge of electrical systems but need to know normal values.

Ok, A bit more information now but I’ve had an a part to some extent. The air intake looks open and clean. I was able to remove the spark plugs and test them as well as all three coil packs and they are working fine. I did notice there is some oily residue coming from the air intake portion of the supercharger. Would this be considered normal?
