As suggested, I'm posting this thread in this Mercury section too:
Hello,
On my 2002 Islandia with a 240 Mercury, there is a very small fuel line, probably about 3/16 OD, that connects to three points on the starboard side and 2 or 3 points on the port side. The lowest connection on the starboard side has a tee and the line continues another 10" or so and just dangles in the bilge leaking fuel. I cant see anywhere this line use to connect to. Can someone please explain the function of this small fuel line and where all the connection points should be?
BTW, it recently came back from a rebuilder who I've called but he hasn't gotten back with me yet. Apparently they forgot to connect it.
Thanks for any help!
