Siphon Bailers

I have a 2004 Sportster 4Tec. Has anyone installed a siphon bailer setup like there is in some skis in this or similar model? Are you glad you did it? Any comments on this topic, positive or negative are appreciated. Thanks

Yes, people have. I saw other people had done it while I was considering it. Honestly, I thought the 2004-2006 Sportsters had it before Sea-Doo discontinued that feature.

I'm doing this now. Keep an eye out for my write-up.

The only challenge is installing hose barbs into the transom. The PWCs have those molded in, but on a boat you’ll have to epoxy your own in place.

Yea. I drilled it from the outside with the smaller bit that matches the plastic part, then drilled from the inside to mount the NPT hose barb fittings. No epoxy needed.
