So I was out cruising this past weekend with my 2010 seadoo speedster 150.. Everything was fine but while cruising I had a loud, short beep but nothing else.. I found it strange as usually there is some kind of message that is displayed.. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.. It wasnt a long beep or anything like you would get when running low on fuel or overheating.. It was just a short beep and again nothing displayed or flashed on the gauges.. Just curious if anyone has any ideas on what it could be... I thought it might have something to do with the battery because a couple of times when i stopped the engines and went to start back up it would take a little longer then usual but still started up.. Still looking into adding a second battery but havnt gotten around to it..

On a side note.. Anyone know how often you should replace these batteries anyway? I have had the stock one in for about 3 seasons but still have less then 30 hours on the boat and always keep it hooked up to battery tender when not in use..

I've never had a single beep like you describe?....Batteries seem to go based on time rather than hours of use, climate plays a big part, extreme hot / cold take a huge toll. In my area (Southwest) batteries are good for about 4 , maybe 5 years tops....

On skis a single beep while cruising can be a low fuel warning.

On my RXT-X it happens just below a quarter tank.
