I've got a 1998 Challenger 1800 that's been sitting unused for ~10 years. Had it looked at ~3 years ago and was told everything was fine, with the caveat that there could be rust deep within the engines that could manifest as an issue out on the water and would be difficult to diagnose without pulling everything apart.
I'm looking for someone in the area who has a real proficiency with and/or love of these boats to take a hard look at the current state of things and give some guidance. Land Air used to work on it in the aughts when I was actively using it, but it's too old for them to deal with now.
I really loved this boat when I was using it and would like to get it back on the water. Upholstery is shot but I would be willing to replace it if everything else checks out.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
