Setting the clock

I have tried several times with manual in hand to set the correct time on my 2010 challenger 210 with no luck. I'm pretty good at following instructions from a manual but the manual doesn't seem to jive with what should be displayed on the screen. I don't want to take it to the dealer just to get the clock set, anyone else have this problem?

I don't know how to fix your clock, but can you tell us more about your new 210 Challenger?

How do you like it?
Has it been reliable so far?
Any bugs/problems to look out for when buying (other then the clock of course)?
Did you get the supercharger or not?
How does it drive?
Any pictures you can share?

Thanks a bunch, I really like the new 210 Challenger/Wake models but haven't found many first hand experiences yet.

I love this boat, works great, handles the chop well. I didn't get the supercharger and the top speed is about 47 mph. I've only got about 3 hrs on it so its a little to early to start talking reliability but so far so good. I will add some pics and keep you posted. if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Thanks for the great info Tuck01, especially regarding your top speed. I was curious what one could expect from the non-supercharged models since I haven't seen any reviews of them yet.

I checked out both the 210 Challenger SE and the 210 Wake at a dealer this weekend and was very impressed. I am trying to decide between the 210 Wake and the Yamaha 212X. Yamaha makes a very nice boat, but so far I really like the 210 Wake much better due to the design and features. Of course it costs more though...

I would love to see more pictures and hear owner experiences for these new 210 models. On this forum I have seen two owners say that their boat veered left a bit and Sea Doo had to fix it. But those are the only real issues I have found so far, and it looks to me like Sea Doo has a winner with this model if they have that straightened out.

Can you tell me, is your Challenger an SE, and does it have Ski Mode? The SE I looked at this weekend did (I turned on the key and set the modes myself), but I have heard from another dealer that only the 210 Wake comes with Ski Mode. I'm pretty sure he was incorrect based on what I saw this weekend but was curious if your boat had Ski Mode too.

Thanks again and enjoy your new boat!

My challenger 210 SE does have ski mode plus a few others such as cruise, docking, and fuel economy, all easily set.

Great, thanks for that info.

Any more new things (good or bad) you have learned about the boat as you have owned it? Have you tried to ski or wakeboard behind it yet?

I still haven't been able to find many downsides of the new 210 Challenger/Wake when compared to the competition.

Hi there,

I do have the same problem with a 2011 Challenger 230. I can set the hours, but I have not been able to find out how to adjust the minutes. Did you solve your problem?

I am now beginning to think that the time is actually set by GPS as the minutes on our Challenger are always correct and have never been set. When setting the clock in the settings menu option, the only thing that you can do is setting the "hour offset". But then again I wonder what about timezones that are not offset by the hour like for example Nepal?
