series of beeping 01 XP

I just purchased my first waverunner. Came with no ownersmanual.
Started great first four days. Now it beeps twice, I hit the start button, and while trying to start and get a constant thread of short beeps and it won't start. Now I have runs the battery down and need to recharge it. Can someone tell me what the constant short beeping means and what I need to do next? Thanks

well wave runners are yamaha'a...the seadoo, needs the dess lanyard post cleaned to have a better connection to the mpem. Use soap and water to clean it up.
