second battery location

I have the second battery running on the driver side of a 2006 sportster but after using liquid nail did not stick or sit very well. Need some help on want to use or is that a bad location thanks. The liquid nail just felt tacky not stick.

There are some threads that discuss it. Try searching. I'm not sure on your exact boat, but others have been ok just using stainless screws and screwing it down. Mine held fine with the liquid nail. You need a smooth bottom battery tray and need to clean the area real good. I used like half a tube. Then I put it in and let it sit 2 days and it was good to go. Been holding 3 years.
