Ive got a slow leak that will put a few gallons per hour into my hull, nothing the bilgepump cant handle if its working well. But its time to search out and fix this..any suggestions?

Ive watched the hoses coming off the exhaust while moving slow (6mph) and nothing is spraying, and while stationary bending into engine bay and revving both engines...nothing.

The water in the Bildge is HOT!!! but I believe it is because its surrounding the hot engines and Exhuast..but it may be hot cause its coming from a manifold? any easy way to check that out of water?

Ive read there is a seal on the Grate Pushrod that leaks?
Ive heard the hull mate to topshell will leak while under way as well near the back?

My first plan tonight is to run the garden hose into the hull while its on the trailer and fill it up a good ways and see if I can spot it leaking out (Reverse Physiology! or Leak -Ology)
Thx Renomaan

Anyone have any thoguhts?

I had a leak under the rub rail in the rear. I sealed the rub rail on the top and bottom where it meets the hull all the way around the rear. Problem solved. Easy way to diagnose this is to leave boat tied to trailer and back the rear under water to see if it's leaking under the rail.

Rub rail rear is common.
Leave it tied to the trailer (plugs installed), and back it down the ramp.

Don't start it. Is water coming in? Make sure the rail is below water level.

If no water, start the engine and look for water.

I wouldn't split it as it is all but impossible to do. Remove the rub rail, clean and Oreo the surface VERY well. Sand it so it is definitely clean. Use something like 97% alcohol to wife it clean. Then use a quality sealant. I like black RTV as it is designed for oil. Salt water won't eat it away. Let it cure. I'd do it in layers depending on how mush is needed. I would also put it on the inside of the run rail when you reinstall it. Wipe the inside down of the run rail with the alcohol as well.

Found it! I filled the hull for about an hour, leveled the boat and pulled the bildge fuse...there is a crack in the hull! musta hit something at speed?? problem is is right below the instrument cluster so I gotta pull the pod off the upper shell and crawl down there to fiberglass patch.

Ill search hull fixes next :O
