poetbruce Member Jul 18, 2019 #1 Hello again is there a seal/gasket between the head pipe assembly and the pipe cone. Took it apart and it seems like a small bead of silicone was between the two, gasket or just sealant needed.

mikidymac Moderator Staff member Moderator Jul 18, 2019 #2 There should be a flat copper washer that gets Permatex Ultra Copper RTV on both sides. Also a good time to check the tail cone bushings. If they are worn the pipe can bread bolts.
