i have a 2007 seadoo challenger w/ 215 hp. i have 7 hours on it and when i give it gas its hard to get it on a plane. the rpm's go through th roof and it just does not go. does this sound like the washer issue i have been reading about? pleas advise thaks ken

Ken I would check the wear ring for being worn out. It causes cavitation and high RPM's. If the washers were bad in the SC, the rpm's would not exceed 6500 because the fan blades slip and can't produce any higher rpm.

Wear Ring clearance for ALL 4-tec 0.035 mm or ( .014in)

Wear Ring clearance for your seadoo 0.035mm or (.014in). Measure the clearance at the center of the impeller blades, with a 12” long gauge. Measure the clearance from the venturi side of the jet pump. Check for any gouges or deep scratches in the wear ring also.

No.... if your seeing 8000 rpm on the gage, then you are building boost pressure from your supercharger.

Like quoted above, check the wearing ring.......
