Seadoo with out battery

If I leave it sit for a long time w/ out the battery in it, will that hurt anything? I've got a 98 GTX Limited. On that note. Will the engine freeze up if I don't spray the storage oil into the carbs before winter? How do I do that with flame arrestors/filters? Just take them off and spray it in? I don't think I would want to get storage oil on them.

on the airbox, you'll see a rubber plug on it, if dont have it, then you'll see the hole on top of the lid. You spray in there, while motor run'n....fog'n it.

I don't have that anymore. I have some flame arrestors on my carbs. Do I need to remove them one at a time and spray it in?
