I.ve benn having some trouble with my 95 gtx 657x. I try to start my seadoo and all i get is a clicking noise, so i checked the starter and it is working fine. i purchased a new battery thinking its a bad battery but still it clicks in the electrical box. so i'm assuming its the selanoid.

Any Input would be a great help. Thanks Dean

Here's what I'd doo:

I'd hook it up with jumper cables, to a bigger battery, like the one in my truck, or van. (DOO NOT HAVE THE TRUCK OR VAN RUNNING!) Somehow, that can fry the 'lectronics!

And try it again. And, as a side note, go ahead and buy yourself a nice set of HEAVY DUTY jumper cables. You may not need real good ones for the doo, but they are simply valuable tools for life! (ok ok, I am meddling, sorry!)

I'd recomend something like this:

They will come in handy more than once in your life!

Anyway, this will allow you to CHECK and KNOW that the battery you are using is good. Watch your polarity, as if you get it wrong, you could hurt thngs.

This would confirm the idea that the bat for sure was good!
