Got her up to 60mph on the lake today. No one else on the water and it was like glass. I have a wake tower. Just wondering how fast other Utopias have gotten up to.

Ours runs between 48 and 52 mph in relation of the stuff which is in the boat and as well in relation to the temperature. We have the n/a 155hp engines and when it's very hot you can feel a slightly loose of power, especially in top speed. But for waterskiing and wakeboarding it's still perfect. And those n/a engines are nearly maintenance free. It's a perfect boat for us and since we have the only one here around people get always interested in.

I have a 2008 Utopia twin 155. I think my top speed at one point when I was near empty of fuel, the only person on the boat and near flat conditions was about 51 miles an hour but now several years later I think my top speed is around 45 miles an hour. By the way any advice on how to get grass out of the Impaler. I drove through a surprise grassy patch and now have no power more than 10 miles an hour

Starting to notice that my throttle is not as responsive as it once was. Almost like it has 3 stages
3000rpm 5500rmp and 8000rpm.. It used to be smooth accelerating ... Thoughts?

This has been answered in your other thread already. Get under there and pull everything out by hand. It's your only option considering you're trailerless.

I had that problem, last year. At first, I thought it was the throttle cable, but that was smooth. Ended up replacing the linkage on the back that controls the forward and reverse. It was starting to corrode, inside... Now it is smooth as butter.
