My Sea-Doo 2 Stroke seems to burn an excessive amount of blue smoke while in idle. I'm hoping to find some info on what might cause this and how to fix it?
I know Rookie101 is an expert with these, hoping he could chime in with some help as well as anyone else who may be able to help!
Thank you

Have you gotten anywhere with your excessive smoke at idle? I have been dealing with the same issue since last year and just fix the problem. Let me know and I will take you through the troubleshooting but I did find my problem.

I would check your oil pump adjustment/alignment. If you have done any maintenance to the throttle cable or carbs this would be standard protocol. The oil pump "actuator" is attached to the throttle cable and allows for more oil at higher throttle positions. If the idle position of the pump is not set correctly you could be putting in more oil then needed.

I am assuming you have the 720 or 800 engines? my understanding is over time the seals in crank shaft weaken and oil starts to seep into the wrong side. I had this on my challenger. I don't know what engines you have but apparently its super common on the 720 at least
