been running the boat for a pretty good time and sucked a rope up in it a few years back and now it has little power off the line has a lot of cavitation and will not pull up a wakeboarder at all even with one person in it could the ware ring be bad?

Yes it sounds like a worn wear ring. use a guage to measure the clearance at the blade center. Wear Ring clearance for your seadoo is .035 mm or (.014in) Measure the clearance at the center of the impeller blades, with a 12” long gauge. Measure the clearance from the venturi side of the jet pump.

would it be a good time to get the impeller reworked and throw a new ware ring in it at the same time ? thanks man
