Seadoo sportser 1800 steering nozzle different sizes?

I just noticed my boat's steering nozzles are different sizes the left one is smaller than the right.
Is this normal? I would not think so.
 
Nope. That's not normal. Lol. Having different size nozzles would create a different velocity of water from each side.
 
On the twin engine speedsters it is normal. Ive heard it has something to do with offsetting the thrust to keep the boat aligned straight.
 
Thanks for the info, It seems odd that this would happen and the way to resolve it would be to reduce thrust on one side.
I wonder how much thrust is lost. I might want to have more low end thrust and not care about if it pulls slighlty at speed.
anyone have a extra right nozzle laying around I could try and see if it is a big difference?
