Seadoo Snap in Fenders (Orange)

I was interested in buying a pair of Seadoo snapin fenders.
Has anyone had any experience with these fenders? Are they worth the money?

I thought about putting the brackets on my 2004 GTI. You have to drill 3 holes for each bracket and one of them is 1/2 inch large. These go through the lip of the hull. I then think the 1/2" piece on the bracket would stick out below the lip. If the other bracket would work, it would be a cleaner install but I don't think it would on the old 2 stroke bodies. I also have read that the brackets kick up water when under way. So...I passed on the idea.
