When we fell off our seadoo it flipped upside down it stayed that way for about 10-15 min till I was able to flip it back. Now it will not start. We flushed all the water out of it but it will not start. Will not turn over acts like batery is dead charging it now.

What else should we do?????????????????

Thanks for the Help we love our toy

Keep on it!...

Keep on it. It'll start. Pull the plugs, blow out the water, put the plugs back in, try again, ............try again,..........and try again. When a motor ingests water, it takes a long time to clear the moisture enough to get it to fire.

If your gonna let it sit for a day or two while you regroup, make sure you pour some of your 2-cycle oil in each spark plug hole or a good bit of WD-40 and put the plugs back in. This will keep the engine from seizure.

Then, come back with a charged battery and try again. Persistance, it will eventually pay off..........do not run the starter for no more than 30 seconds at a time. YOu'll burn it up. You can tell if your over working the starter by grabbing the ground wire on the battery. If it's gettin hot, let the starter take a rest.........also, make sure all your fuses are good!....

Thanks for ur help....

When we try to start it it will not turn over at all it just makes a clicking sound. What do u think?????????????

find starter solenoid and jump across the 2 big posts. take out plugs. right now you aren't trying to start it, you are trying to crank the water outta the motor. blow most of it out. then set motor so both cyls are same height. use a screwdriver in plug holes to measure. now pour a couple of ounces of drygas mixed with a little 2-stroke oil in each plug hole. now spin that out. repeat. repeat. repeat. now you have gotten most of the water out, and oiled up the crank bearings. now worry about fixing the ski.

we did the same thing to our sea doo. the reason for the loud clanking is the water in side the engine. make. sure you pull both plugs and turn it over until water stops spraying out of the engine. put two new spark plugs in and turn it over give it time lots of time. and if possible after getting it started take it for a long ride to work the water out of the engine and bearings.
