yah, make sure its injector oil, whether its mineral or synthetic, but make sure you dont mix the 2 together...low ash..Karl has numerous post on description of oil...

... at the seadoo dealer near me...
That's more than likely your problem right there. Dealers tend to charge much more for things like this... just look at the PFDs and other riding gear they sell! Try looking around. My automotive dealer is a smaller town shop that I deal with quite a bit (first name basis, type thing). I don't think that I would want to order it on-line, as shipping and handling costs along with the time it takes to get it doesn't make it worth it. In my opinion, anyway.

How much are you paying for the oil? I can get a gallon of Sea-Doo oil from a local autoparts store for $29 a gallon.

Are you getting SeaDoo XPS synth oil?

Where are you getting it? incase i have the same auto parts store... I also can only find the XPS oil at my dealer.

Yes, it's the synthetic BRP oil.

You won't have the same auto parts store, as the one I go to is just a small town non-franchise shop.

There are Amsoil fans who swear by Amsoil Interceptor which is $38.30/gallon plus shipping (not really less than XPS synthetic).

A lot of people are using Citgo Supergard Sea & Snow which is available at Academy Sports, Bass Pro Shop, and many Citgo gas stations for under $20/gallon.

Quick Silver...

Since most of us don't have the old mom and pop stores around anymore and my local Seadoo dealer is over an hour away, I found that the Quicksilver "full synthetic" I buy from Walmart has the same properties as the Seadoo XP-S synthetic. I've used it now for 2 seasons and my plugs and compression are still great.

Oh, my engine is a 97 model 787.

I've used this oil to and it seems to work well!
