Hello everyone. First off, thank you for allowing me to join.
I recently acquired 2 1997 Seadoo GTX’s. One runs but needs an exhaust boot for the muffler and other ski has a dead cylinder. Both hulls are in fairly decent condition but for $2k for both ski and trailer, I think I got a pretty decent deal
I’ve owned a Kawasaki and Polaris jetski in the past but this is my first time owning a Seadoo.
Can someone tell me what engine I have. I can’t find anything on the ski that shows what engine these have. How good are these engines? Do these have good power? Comparing these skis to my Polaris SL1050 which was a 3 cylinders, the first thing I noticed was how quiet these engine run.
Any advice for this Seadoo newbie is greatly appreciated.
