hi guys i am new to the site and i am looking at a 2000 gsx rfi, i went and looked at it, runs great, but the is a small puddel of oil in the bottom of the hull, the oil is fresh, what could this be from, the guy doesnt know were it came from, thanks

Could be he spilled it when he filled it up last time. Look at some of the lines coming out of the tank, do a quick check to make sure there's no holes or tears.

You could throw some cat litter in there to obsorb it up just kidding lol  It should be a easy fix I would knock off $300.00 from the ski to repair it. if you did the job your self it could cost as litle as a few bucks to as much as $300 if you need a new tank this is only a estimate I beleive that it will be cheap.

Take a mirror and some clean paper towels to check the oil tubing under the engine - you can use this guide to visualize the where the tubes go. Maybe the tubing is getting old and brittle - then they would start to leak.
