I have had to repair the leading edge of my skat trak impeller on my 97 Challenger. Now that leading edge is nicely cleaned up with no nicks or dings, do you sharpen up this edge, if so do I chamfer the top edge or bottom edge?
Any help appropriated. Photos, advice?

It does not need to have a cutting edge per-say. The less you can do is what you want to do. The more you affect the edge the more you affect balance and clearances.

It moves water within a tunnel as compared to a marine propeller that cuts and moves water for and act as well as from inside out.

Thanks for your comment.
I thought there was always a slight edge on one of the faces, not sharp, but better than a wide edge.
This is the leading edge , not the outside diameter. On the skat trak swirl it has quite a curved front edge.
