I have recently rebuilt my carbs changed filters and diaphrams on my 2001 seadoo xp (951) cleaned them right through with carb cleaner i then found my ski would not start i reset the low speed adjustment to 1 turn and then wound it out till it started which was 3.5 turns out way more than manual sais, i let the ski run on the hose for 5 mins all seemed well would rev up and down ok i then shut it of and tried restarting again and it would not start i have since cheked pop off pressure, reed valves, fuel switch and check valve accelarater pump, spark plugs and spark all of which are ok. i cant work out why it is so hard to start and why the low speed adjusters have to be so far out to get it to start any ideas ? maybe a air leak ? :(
