I am in the process of putting a new pump together for my 1997 seadoo gti. What all belongs on the impeller shaft? From my knowledge it sounds like a thrust washer. Is that all? Thanks guys

You should look up the parts diagram for the pump. There is probably a thrust bearing and thrust washer. Internal to the pump body there are probably 2 needle bearings and an oil seal. Lastly the impeller is attached also.

i did. idk if I’m just stupid or what but I couldn’t figure it out looking at the diagram. I watched a few YouTube videos of pumps being built & a few had a thrust washer & another guy had a thrust washer & thrust bearing lol. Let me send a screenshot & get your opinion.

Now that you say that. So does this show a thrust bearing & thrust washer going on it?

If that is the diagram for your model then it is showing a thrust washer (#25) and a thrust bearing (#26). Make sure they are seated properly when you torque the impeller onto the shaft. The needle bearings (#23 and a 2nd one) and the oil seal should also be shown. They are in the pump body and support and seal the impeller shaft.
