Seadoo GSX exhaust hose Interchangeable?

Hey Guys,

I have a little part issue with my Seadoo GSX 787 RFI 1999. I am looking for a exhaust hose (OEM: 274000725).

This part is very expensive for me because the shipping coasts to Germany. So I found an exhaust hose for a newer model. I think it’s for the Seadoo GTX SSI 2001 (OEM of the hose: 274000834).

Do you think the parts are interchangeable? Would be much more cheap for me to order the part for the newer model.

Without seeing the parts I’m going to go ahead and say that the parts are most likely not interchangeable. If you go on seadoowarehouse.com you should be able to see the parts fiche for both machines to get a visual but being they are different engines I highly doubt It will work

Well, I looked up both part numbers on seadoowarehouse.com the first picture is the part for the GSXRfi and the second picture it’s part number 58 is for the 03 RXDI and they look identical. What’s the price difference for you on the 2 parts?

Yeah, that’s what I thought. They look very similar.
The first one is 90 dollars the second one around 35.

Two very different hulls and very different engines. It would be unlikely they would be interchangeable but stranger things have happened.

Also keep in mind that the drawings are not very accurate as to the actual parts.
