Seadoo Gauges

I'm just tring to figure out how to remove an old gauge from my 96 xp i have tried reaching up in the back and losening it i tried using an oil filter band wrench i just cannot get that lil gauge to move. Any suggestions?

Unscrew the back of it and take thew black ring off the front of it and it will push through away from the wires.

Those can be a real pain at times. If you can get in there, try a pair of channel lock pliers. If that doesn't work, you might just have to break the plastic nut with a chisel and order a new one. When you reinstall the nut, put some silicone grease on the threads to make it easier to take it off next time. This also works great on those hard to remove fuel filter bowls.
