what month/year was the site created, and who were the first few members, and are they still around.....just curious

It hasn't been around all that long. One of the mods will have to chime in and let us know.
Couple years...
The site was started in December of 2006. I came on in Sept. of 2007. At that time, JPX and D 5UPE (from the U.K.) were moderators, along with the two administrators.
A couple months later, KustomKarl signed on. There have been a couple moderators come and go, nswillin is no longer with us. Rookie101 took his place.
Some of the longest running members? I think that's a loaded question. Because you two are two of the longest running members in the forum. Robin Lloyd was also around quite a bit. He's not been in since the spring. I spoke with him via email and he's just been busy building a barn and putting up a cattle fence. So, I think we'll hear from him again at some point.
JPX popped in a short time back, so he still comes in now and then. As for members who have been here the longest?....beside the ones on the high post board, I'd have to look it up.:cheers:

Actually louis, you joined 9/04/07 and I joined 9/26/07 after look around the forum for about 3 weeks. So we're almost twins here...:rofl:
It would be tough to check on the first charter members as such, there's a lot of members to look through.

Your right on the mod stasis... It was a few months after I joined.
