Seadoo Flooding

I have a new seadoo rxt-x. The first time it was flipped the engine compartment filled with water within a couple of seconds. When we righted it and emptied it we discovered that the air intake hose from under the handle bar to the bottom of the bilge was disconnected and left a 4 inch hole where the water was able to rush in so fast. Has anyone else ever heard of this happening or know of a good way to fix it. Thanks so much

Dunno - but most plastic hoses are simply popped on which means they can pop off. As a preventative measure, you could add a ziptie to the flange to secure it.
