HI GUYS, I'M NEW HERE... I just picked up a seadoo sportster, Next summer I'm leaving it at the marina in the water. HOW CAN I COVER THE BOAT?? The boat came with a cover that ties under the boat, When the boats in the water how can i install it?? Is there a easier cover that i can install . thanks

hey Tim looks like you should fined a nice dry place for the summer when its not being used . thats what I'm trying to do

Welcome to the seadoo forum Tim R. It isn't recommended by seadoo that you leave your jet boat in the water for extended time say more than over night. As for the cover there are lots of companies that have covers that have a tension strap just under the rub rail. They are easy to install and can either be cheap or expensive...remember you get what you pay for. Mine for my speedster cost $650.00.

I guess it all depends on how you look at it...it appears to be from 2 different angles or point of views...:ack:  :)
Is the glass half full or half empty...

Either way you should add more information about you seadoo in your avatar.

Yah, my first boat, neighbors didnt like it much, leav'n out in street. Had the "pigs" write my up for 72hr no move BS, so for the time being, just took it with me wherever, now with new boat...F-EM, just walk out there every-other day and move it 10ft...

really that not right.... also Bost look to be in real good shape even more reason not to leave it in the water. cant you just leave it on the trailer at a marina???

What about leave'n it on trailer, and storing it where you've been stor'n the trailer???

the boat is in my Friends shop for the winter he Owens a pool company .so for now he is closed but come summer it has to go . Tim lives in a condo and i live in a apartment so nether one of us can store it in the summer . the empty trailer is no big deal i have a few places i can put it ' so next spring i will start to look for a marina where i can leave it on the trailer :)

You could always make friends with the locals and see what they suggest. Who knows maybe one will let you leave it in their yard. I have 3 friends that leave their boats or empty trailers in my yard. I own a double lot and store my 26' Chris Craft Dive boat, my 200speedster trailer, 2 friends Jet boats and a Triumph 23' fishing boat Year round. What are friends for ...
