Hi all
I have been looking at the specs of the Seadoo Challenger 210 2010 model, it certainly ticks all the boxes I am looking for ,
Have never had a jet boat before so really would apreciate some advice.
I note there are two models the 315 NA hp model and the supercharged 430HP , apart from extra power what are the advantages between the boats , reliability issues ? and whats the difference for range on the 100 litre tanks .
On the fuel range on economy mode what would be the maximum range you could travel on a full tank.
Here the crunch
I live in the UK , but have a holiday Villa in Egypt El Gouna ( Hurghada nearest port ) The boat is intended to be used in the red sea , its ideal size for navigating the lagoons from the marina to the villa and Red sea . the water is relatively shallow and calm ( ideal for a jet boat ? ) . Will the salt water be an issue , presume it will be used 2 weeks in the water flushed out with fresh water then boat taken out of the water , probably used 4-5 2 week periods a year.
winterization , it never gets cold in winter what would be required ?
are there any Seadoo dealers in Egypt to purchase the boat from , looking at prices buying a boat in the UK and exporting is going to be expensive , prefer to purchase localy if possible
any other pitfalls
thanks
