Been looking around the net for a comparison of older SeaDoo Boat models with no luck. I am looking to pick up a mid to late 90's SeaDoo boat, but I am not sure how the models compare to each other (size, options, etc) or what they are designed for (ski, family, fish, pleasure, cruising, general hell raising, etc). So, what is the difference in the Challenger, Sportster, and Speedster?
thanks!

I thought it was all about size. Challenger's are 18 foot, Speedsters are 16 foot (I think) and I believe the Sportster's are 14 foot. That's what I thought, but I could be wrong. I also thought it had something to do with the engines (single or twin, sea-doo or mercruiser) but apparently you can get any number of combinations in the motors, so I have no idea, but I believe the boat length is the big determining factor...

sorry, bud..didnt see the "thread"

man, there's sh**load of styles..sportster which are in the 14.5 and 18 footers, small one has single 720, bigger one has 2 720's.

Speedsters, also in 14.5 and 16 footers, in 98, they wnet with a different look, but the 14.5 has 2-720's, and in 98, they had 2-models,..same boat, but different motors, one was the SK-2/720's, other just Speedster, had 2-787's

Challenger boats, there were the 14.5 single 787, and the 18footer, with 2-787's

Wont post my pors/cons about each, but going from my profile pictures, you'll see which one i kept...;)
