Seadoo 210 SP NEW PURCHASE

Just Purchased a 2012 Seadoo 210 SP with the folding arch tower, Having Trouble with the Latch System on the tower. The Latches are stuff im worried that its going to break off while Trying to Rotate the handles I can get them to move a few Degrees but seem really Bound up. Is there a way to Lube these or get them apart another way so i can dissassemble the mechanism to clean.?

Has anyone replaced these locking latches with something more simple and rugged like a pin or Bolt type system?

I have the same boat, and you do need someone holding the tower as you rotate the lock handles. Don’t want to rotate with all the weight/stress still applied. I have not lubed my locks, other than some WD type spray once it’s down. Good luck.
