seadoo 1997 xp ..running very rough plz help

hey guys im new to the site just wanted to know a few things from the experts and u guys sound like u know wat ure on about

my 1997 seadoo xp is not running good.

it goes like this

the ski starts perfect first kick all day long.... wat then happens is ...when i put it in the water it goes well for about 2 mins then it really dies in the ass
I can hold the throttle flat out and all that happens is alot of smoke blows out the back and feels like ure riding a dirtbike with the choke on with no power wat so ever then if i decelarate it stops

any ideas wat this problem could be

may want to clean the "entire" fuel system...carbs,fuel selector, lines if grey..etc
BTW...doesn't bother me, but, gotsta chill wit da language...:cheers:

Start by giving it a compression test to make sure top end is still good. If all is good there then you may need to adjust the carbs or make sure the choke isnt sticking.
