Sea-Doo Speester 240HP 2003 Don `t spark and beep?

My Sea-Doo does not say peep when I install the key. The engine will not start because there will be a spark.

Where to start searching wrong?

Does the engine turn over?

Get a meter on the battery and tell us the voltage when TRYING to crank the engine. Post your findings here. Jump the solenoid with a screwdriver, tells us what happens? Once you give us this info, we will go from there.

As Lou mentioned.

You have the Merc engine. I missed that when I first read your post.

The Merc is a different animal compared to most Seadoo engines. Dr Honda will be better suited to help you.

The Hull Identification Number will tell you what year the boat is. Its located under the swim platform on the starboard side.

The last two numbers indicate the model year. Example 02 would be model year 2002.
