Sea Doo Speedster 1997-6000 $ IS this a fair price?

Hey everyone

I drove a Sea Doo 2 weeks ago and I loved it so much that I wanna buy my own now.

I do have someone who wants 6.000 $ for an 1997 Sea Doo Speedster.

Techs he gave me:

Power Boat:CANVAS

Power Boat:ENTERTAINMENT
Stereo - am/fm CD player w/4 Speakers
Power Boat:JET DRIVE

He said it probably has under 100 hours... well "probably" I would say the same...

His advertising text:

Comes with Sunbrella Bimini. and boat cover. The ShoreLander trailer is in very good condition and is included.

Have clear title, and registration of boat and trailer are current. "

I would really appreciate every comment to that type of boat.

He does offer me to test drive it, where I for sure use your list what to look for:D

Thank you all in advance.

Regards Michael

$4500 is the top price. With summer coming to an end... Id say $4000 is a better price.

If he will come down on his price... you can take it to a dealer, and they can read the time out of the computer. Also... a low hour boat that is 14 years old is worse than one that gets regularly used. (internal rust is a big problem)
