I have a 2007 and 135 hours of engine
I am able to reach a speed of 68.75 at 8100RPM
I have Solas 14/19
The previous owner told me that the computer is open to 8300RPM

I want to reach at least 75 -80 miles
What I recommended additions add

I was told that I should not go through the 8000 rpm without replacing the valve springs
That I could fly valves and break the engine

I am investing heavily in my rxp 215 I have x charger 42 Ib injectors plan on getting fizzle already have Maptuner x . That is my winter project to make it scream .

previous owner told you wrong, rev limiter is set at 8200. Maximum HP is at 8000 rpms on stock setup. you are currently getting all you can out of what you have.

you need an x charger, bigger injectors, better air flow, remapping, repitched imp, etc. to reach 80mph, you need a lot which equates to a lot of money spent, fizzle on here can help you out with good advice to go fast.

You might be better off selling your 215 and getting a 260, then you will be closer since it's pretty easy to get the 260s into the low 70s.

He said he's already had it up to 8100rpm. As I understand it he broke the 8000 limit because the previous owner had the computer opened up through some sort of remapping.

It's very doable. Just checkout http://www.pwcmuscle.com/ They can make it happen. It all depends how many shekels you have.
I've heard of the valve issue. But I'm not very experience. I'm sure pwcmuscle can answer all your questions.

rev limiter is 8200, not 8000. 8000 is only where maximum hp is developed on stock motor. once you go past 8000 on a stock setup, you are actually producing less hp even though you may be going faster. the racers mods will change where max hp is developed, power curve, which can be found when running on a dyno. floating valves is an issue but only when you start getting into the more elaborate mods with higher rpms.

saying you want to go 75-80 mph sounds a little like you aren't very well informed since the difference between 75 and 80 is a bunch of mods. sure it's easily doable, only takes money, some racers are going over 100 mph now and I'm sure that will continue to go up.

I was just on riva website they have a list of mods you will need to put that jet ski close to 85 mph. But the mods are 3000.00

Getting your ski to the mid 70's is relatively easy....and it won't break the bank. Getting you to 80 is a lill more spendy.

I had heard the '06 went to 8200 while the '07's and up did indeed go to 8300. There are a multitude of mods that'll bump you well over that limit. To do it safely would require springs and guides upgrades at a minimum.

If you want a shopping list....we gotta know what you're willing to spend.

You may be able to increase the pitch one unit and trade some acceleration for speed by dropping the rpms a bit to the engines designed power band while reducing the demand on your relatively old engines valve train which for longevity might be smart .

we are thousands of dollars in to get 77mph from a new RXP 300. numbers are triple to get 80mph from our 215hp mtr.

One of the locals has an RXP300. He is just now able to hit 81mph. He has replaced his intercooler, Riva intake, got Map-X and tune, better S/C, better valve springs, different impeller and he says now he wishes he wouldn't have spent all that money just to hit 80 when for just a tad more money, he could have built the motor, gone turbo with a custom ECM and done 90.

yes we have IC Fizzle as well.. just cant break 75 77 mph range. 81 is impressive. I suspect these 300px boats are easily compromised on IC plumbing. the hoses really flare up when you rev mtr. actually lifts IC up.
