Sea Doo iS 260 Takes on a lot of water - Normal? Dealer says yes

Hello

Very new to the jetski world but know boats (motor and sail) fairly well.
We are using an iS 260 (not much more information than that) and it is taking on water, a lot of water.

We've been told by the Dealer that they will take on water if they are on the water and not being used above 20 for any length of time - apparently it comes by the carbon ring on the drive shaft and will always take on water.

This water is filling our battery box and we're having to pump it out every day.
We just do not feel this is correct.

I'd be pleased to be corrected but would like some detail.

Also, is there somewhere on the jetski that I can find the actual model details?
Thanks

No, they should not be taking on that much water. You will get some in especially if you roll the ski or in really rough water but it should never be filling up like you are describing.
