Sea-Doo DESS lanyard 2005 Challenger

Do these lanyards have to be programed for a 5005 Challenger DESS? Mine seems loose fitting and I'd like to replace it.

Do these lanyards have to be programed for a 5005 Challenger DESS? Mine seems loose fitting and I'd like to replace it.

My boat has a metal key, but I believe the boat has to be programmed to accept a new DESS key, not the other way around.

Yup, Dess key has to be programmed to the boat. Need someone with Cando or buds system.
