Sea doo challenger 2000 low top speed

240 efi revs about 7000 rpm can only run about 28mph on gps just bought the boat new to jet boats read it might be a wear ring any in put would be appreciated

If your turning those RPMs and only getting 28mph... I would definitely investigate the jet pump. Could be as simple as debris in the pump... or badly damaged impeller edges... or damaged stator veins. If the impeller is bad, likely lots of wear on the wear ring also.

How do you test the stator?? Does anyone know?

The factory service manual for your engine has all the troubleshooting steps and testing information. You will need an volt-ohm meter to test.
