Sea Doo 97 XP Limited engine in a tinny.

Gidday fellas, thought this might be a good place to share what we've been up to.

We put a sea doo engine into a little tinny and it seems to be going all good so far, apart from the carby / throttle issues we've been having, its surging and lacking power under load (in the water) sometimes.

I've ordered a couple of replacement gasket and those rubber diaframs that are in the carby, as they had some salt water damage in them, thinking this might be related we'll try it. Hopefully this ebay link works for you...
