Hey guys quick question on the stock scupper vs aftermarket ball type. I bought the ball type and installed it over the factor scupper (rubber +duckbill) because I couldn't figure out if the factory one can be pulled out without completely unscrewing the big vinyl nut inside the engine compartment. Problem is I'm still getting water in the boat.
I suspect it's because the factory scupper (although it's slightly ripped) still does not allow enough backflow for the ball on the new scupper to suck up into the hole and stop the flow??
Does the factory scupper pull out from the outside somehow? I guess I could cut the rubber out if not...
