Hey Guys and Girls... I was talking to my mechanic and he stated that it would be a good idea to replace the bearings and seals in my jet pumps. He has not let me down, and is extremely helpful. So, my question is, is there a time frame in hours, when a jet pump would need more than grease? If so, what is the recommended maintenance, for the jet pack, beyond the 50 hour replace grease and inspect and replace wear ring if needed?

It has been about 45 hours since my last jet pack grease. When I had her out, two weeks ago, I could definitely hear a higher pitch to the sound emitted when flushing them out. FYI - the engines have about 235 hours on them. Thanks.

grease should be checked yearly, when checking the grease inspect the bearing and drive/pump system. look after the the grease and the bearing will love you back...

this is why a manual is handy!

Pete. Thanks for the info. I tried to download my manual, as a premium member, but they do not have one for the Utopia 205 SE.

just download a same year manual, (challenger) would be a good compromise.
yeah the body and fixtures are different but you want same engine config, so you can work on the engines and pumps.
