Palma Sola Bay, Bradenton, FL

Be sure to mark your calendars early this year! Our 2011 Meet and Greet is scheduled for May 15th, 2011. We will be having our event in beautiful Bradenton, Florida.

As you can see, PWCMuscle is included in the event; we are expanding to include some of our non-SeaDoo PWC and Jet Boat brothers. This will be an amazing event, and surely will not disappoint. More information will be coming as details are finalized, and a new thread started for the formal announcement. For now, save the date and enjoy a few teasers. :)

Some things to expect...
Barbeque Cooking, Music, Demo Rides on new SeaDoos and much, much more.

Mark your calendars and make your plans now; this is one event you do NOT want to miss!

I am trying to work out some trades at work to make it down. Only downside to me is the $700 in gas with the current prices to tow the boat down and back.

Is there anywhere to beach the skis there? I know Coquina does but not sure of that area

Yeah Bret tons and tons of beach front to park the ski's..Its a quick jump over to Coquina too for some wave riding fun too

 HOOLIGANS HOLIDAY!!!! Haha. Lets do this thang!! I'll wrangle some of the troops together on the fbook site. Its not a race weekend so Im sure dennis, Nick, Devin, are in!!

:rant:Crap!! This is a race weekend!! Panama City:willy_nilly: I didnt see it posted in the schedule until Devin commented on it. Sorry Man.

Hummmmm..............

It's been a bunch of years since I've had a stand up ski in the surf. I don't know if my old body can take it anymore.

As the date gets close... I'll see if I can free up the time. I guess if one of the other Pitt guys want to split the fuel costs... it wouldn't be too bad.

Of course we'd absolutely love to have you. If enough people are coming from out of town, I'll see if we can't get a group rate from a local hotel. That'd help save costs a bit.

I wish you guys were closer like a meet in the mid of the east coast.. It be like $800 in gas for me to drive down and back..

I know what you mean with gas prices on the rise. If plane tickets are cheap enough, I'm sure there will be a few extra PWCs around, plus we are talking about getting a PWC rental company to come out as well.

I'd have to bring my own if I went to any kind of PWC meet no offense but its just I'd feel bad if I broke someone else s ski plus I beat mine up when I ride..

I'm really thinking about this now.. It'd cost me roughly $360 to drive down and another $360 to drive back.. I just dont feel like driving 20 hours lol...

Looks as though we have this thing worked out!!! So expect 40 plus of us to roll up on your shin dig there RAMPAGE!!! lol Is that too many? :reddevil: And what about parking? Should we plan to park at the 64 ramp and ride on over?
As I recall, it wasn't that spacious... May be wrong so let me know. We'll probably meet at silversurfer's house in the a.m. and make a caravan to the location.

Palma Sola there should be plenty of parking...we have both sides of the road. If you guys ride from Mikes that would be cool.

Hmmmm... Will talk to the girl about this, will get saturday and monday off, maybe friday as well, will need to find hotel prices and one with a secure lot to protect the seadoos.... Put me on the list for a maybe :)

Hey Joe, Are we holding the actual meet at the causeway?

If so there is tons of room there for parking but not so much at the launch.

yeah dont forget that they also have a beach launch as well with lots and lots of parking

There is tons of parking just not so much at the launch, as far as i knew they no longer had any beach launch space as they roped off the spots where you could, but maybe I didnt pay enough attention.

When it gets packed there I usually launch the ski then park on the beach area.

The most important thing is that we all have safe fun and respect the boating and pwc regulations and marine life!

I'll be leaving around 8am from south sarasota on that sunday if anyone wants to join in a convoy give me a call at 941-330-4170 or kingslandj@verizon.net or pm me, this may help some of you that may not know the area. We will find a location to meet up then head out from there.
